Hi — we're Bling Art, a UK family business based in Bradford. This page explains what cookies our site uses and how you can control them. Plain English, no jargon.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website saves on your device when you visit. Cookies help websites remember things — like keeping your basket full while you browse, or remembering you've already accepted the cookie banner. Some are essential. Others are optional and only run if you choose to allow them.

How Bling Art uses cookies

We group cookies into four categories. The first one is always on. The other three only run if you say yes.

Necessary (always on)

These keep the basics working — your basket, the checkout, your login, currency, language. Without them, the site can't function. Examples: _shopify_essential, cart, _shop_app_essential, localization, and the cookies our consent tool uses to remember your choice.

Statistics (off by default)

These help us understand how people use the site so we can make it better. They tell us things like which pages are popular and where people drop off. They don't identify you personally. Examples: Google Analytics (_ga and variants), Shopify analytics (_shopify_analytics, _shopify_s, _shopify_y).

Marketing (off by default)

These let us show you relevant ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google. They also help us measure whether our ads are working so we don't waste money on ones that aren't. Examples: Meta Pixel (_fbp), Pinterest (_pin_unauth), TikTok (ttcsid_), Google Ads (_gcl_au), Shopify marketing (_shopify_marketing).

Preferences (off by default)

These remember small choices to make your visit smoother — like a language or currency preference. We don't actively set any preferences cookies right now, but the category is there in case we add some later.

Changing your cookie choices

You can change your mind any time. Two ways:

• On Bling Art directly — visit our Cookie Preferences page and click the button. You'll see the same panel that appeared on your first visit, and you can switch categories on or off.
• In your browser — most browsers let you block or delete cookies for all sites you visit. Check your browser's help section, or see aboutcookies.org for a step-by-step guide.

Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site from working — your basket won't remember items, you won't stay logged in between visits, and some features may not load. We don't recommend it, but the choice is yours.

Some cookies are set by services we use to run Bling Art. Each one has its own privacy policy:
